Graphics Students Design Logos for Local Gallery

Ask us about “Monet’s Mob” or “Petite Picassos” and we will tell you that they are children's art classes held at the Black Iris Gallery in downtown Sandwich. The gallery offers custom framing and an art gallery bursting with original art by local artists. Owner Nicole Ohme (who happens to be an IVVC graphics alumni) asked for our help in coming up with a design for her unique art classes. As a result, each class has a fun, fresh professional looking logo. Congratulations to Alex K., Somonauk and Charlotte M., Earlville for submitting the winning designs. The whole class was able to visit the gallery and meet Nicole. She gave us some insight on living her dream and combining her talents of being an artist, owning her own matting and framing business, opening a gallery and teaching. How inspiring!
